Ty had his six month check-up yesterday.... he's 28 inches long and 20.13 lbs. 95 percentile. The doctor said he's the size of a 13mth old - guess we knew he'd be a big kid since his father is 6'4 and I'm 6'1. Found out he has 4 more teeth on the way. Was told to start a napping schedule...which he took to like a king... fell asleep in his crib within 5 minutes today (we'll see how tomorrow goes). As always, I think I was more upset about the shots than he was. Over the next few weeks, we'll be starting stage 2 foods... with soft puff cereal and/or cheerios on the table within a month or two. I can't believe it. They really do grow up so quickly. [more]
