T.J. Hopewell

So I was lounging on the couch playing with my iPhone, and Tyler was lying on the floor on his tummy-time mat, when all of a sudden, he starts yelling in this excited kind of yell.  I look down and he is looking right at me...well, more right past me and directly at my iPhone.  I pass the iPhone to him and he immediately grabbed it with both of his hands and started exploring it.  He wasn't used to the weight at first, but soon he was holding it all by himself.  It was quite cool to watch him hold it and look at the screen and try to make sense of what it was exactly he was playing with.

After a few minutes of him learning (and munching - figured that wasn't a good idea)...I took the phone back to resume my reading.  No sooner had I launched "Mashable" (technology blog & app), Tyler started up with his excited yelling.  I looked back down at him and sure enough...he was staring right at the iPhone.

Needless to say, I didn't get much reading in.  His favorite app of choice at the moment - Angry Birds.  I am such a proud poppa!
