Fridays With Nana and Poppy
I've been wanting to write a blog about our excursions with Tyler on Fridays. His Poppy and I pick Tyler up every Friday to start our day together. When he sees us at the door he's so excited to see us (hope that lasts forever). He is expecially excited to see his Poppy (Tyler calls him Papa, but Dan keeps on trying for Poppy.) The first thing Tyler says is bye-bye because he knows we will get into the car and go out for breakfast. He always gets his applesauce and smiles at everyone. Last week we were in the resturant and Tyler says HO HO HO and we look up and there is a man with a long white beard. He always makes us smile and so does everyone around him. Then we sometimes go to the coffee shop to buy some coffee pods., and if you can believe it we have fun in that store too. Then we usually go for a walk in the cranberry bog in Foxboro. We have our routine in which Tyler talks to the ducks, and we run and play up and down the hills. Then we might take a nap. We might go shopping or visit Aunt Ashley and Uncle Steve and the newest addition to the family Bailey. Now that Tyler is getting older I hope that he will remember our special times together. I can't think of anything I would rather do right now on Fridays, that gives me so much happiness.
