9 month check-up

4/13/2011 - Weight: 22.88 lbs Height: 30 inches (75 percentile weight, 95 percentile height) Check up went great. Doctor said Tyler was a wonderful healthy little boy. He's on his way to eating with the big boys. Was told today to introduce a sippy cup (have tried already but he just chewed the ones with the valve, so the doctor suggested some throw away cups that aren't spill proof) and dairy products like cheese and yogurt. Ty's lunch consisted of mini grilled cheese pieces, apple sauce, and some water in a sippy cup. All in all, he was a little wet but devoured the cheese sandwich (must take after his mother - dad says now all he needs is some tomato soup to go along with it). After the doctor Ty and I went for a quick trip to the mall to buy some walking shoes. Ty got sized... Size 5 Wide... and a new pair of gray and orange sneakers... too cute for words and kind of expensive (which I'm sure all your parents out there have already encountered). Now we are just chilling at home and playing. Just trying to stay dry.

He's standing... is he walking? Can't believe the change in just 11 days. We were just there on 4/2. Wish I was closer. I miss so much! What a big boy! Give a big smooch from his Great Auntie Barbie.

he isn't walking yet, but i would bet any day now. he is standing on his own for at least a good 30 seconds or so before he starts to lose his balance. it is a super exciting time! oh...and he has graduated from "da da da da da da..." to "mum mum mum mum mum...". (not sure how i feel about that one...) :oP
