As of this weekend we are officially potty training. Yes, Ty's been trying it on and off for a few months. Even had big boy underwear on a few times before. But yesterday.... Yesterday Ty had his underwear on all day with no accidents. We even went to the park and had a nap. Using advice that Aunt Ashee gave us (that consistency and timing is everything), we set a timer on Ty's iPad to remind him to check every 15 min to see if he needed to use the bathroom. Every time the horn went off, he'd stop to think about it. He definitely is trying to decipher the feelings. We had a few false starts and getting him to push through (literally) and stay still for all situations was a challenge, but I think we are well on our way. Not bad for 2.5. Now we just need to figure out how to get through the night. Open to suggestions. Go Ty Go! We are so proud of you. XoxoX
