T.J. Hopewell

So Ty is 4. I can't believe it where did the time go. This years party was at the YMCA with a hip-hop/super hero dance party theme. We also got a pool which Ty has been happily swimming in since it was installed. It almost makes the destroyed backyard and all the hoops worth it.

So as the title suggest Ty just had his 4 year-old checkup. He's a square.... 42lbs and 42" tall. Dr. said he's the average size of a six year old. The check-up itself was sort of funny as well. Dr. started off by saying we could think about changing him from a 5 point harness seat to a booster.... uh... we did that a little before Gavin was born. He met the requirements and it saved room. She then asked if he was in pull-ups at night....uh..., nope not since he was 2.5. Then she proceeds to tell us at this age he may want to ride a bike or swim. Check (without training wheels) and check (without a bubble). Now the flip side to all this is that he's stubborn as hell and won't try anything new. Gotta love 4 year olds who think they are 20 something. I do love you more than words. To the moon and back.
