Day out with Thomas - Edaville USA - June 22,2013

Took our first trip to Edaville USA this weekend for a Day out with Thomas. The train ride was fun, but I think Ty was more interested in the rides. Lord help me when he's tall enough to ride everything. This kid has no fear. Thank goodness he has Poppi and Aunt Ashee (Dad didn't do too bad himself this time around). Overall it was a gorgeous day and we had a lot of fun.

Happy Easter 2013. What a beautiful day. So glad its actually starting to feel like spring. We had a wonderful brunch with the family. Tyler helped Nana bake some easter cookies and helped mommy with the bunny cake. Unfortunately Ty fell asleep so we didn't make it to the stations of the cross on Friday, but we got to Easter Mass early today so we all got seats. Much love to all. Happy Easter XOXOXO.

Officially Potty Training

As of this weekend we are officially potty training. Yes, Ty's been trying it on and off for a few months. Even had big boy underwear on a few times before. But yesterday.... Yesterday Ty had his underwear on all day with no accidents. We even went to the park and had a nap. [more]

Hanging out for Daddy's Bday. Ty's first try and mariokart. He actually was able to move forward and backwards and even turn. To be honest, after a few more tries he'll probably beat me. Who's up for a game?

I'm not sure of the official totals, but I think we got around 2 feet of snow (more with the drifts). Ty didn't last long climbing through the mounds but we had fun while it lasted. [more]

Tyler's First Dental Checkup

Ok. I know every parent thinks their child is awesome, but I have to say our kid is pretty cool. I do wonder what's going on inside that brain of his though. Yesterday, Ty had his first dental checkup. I guess the average age is 3 or so. I've been hearing about all these young kids getting cavities though and since Nana works as an office manager at the dentist office and he was covered by insurance we brought him in. I told the hygienist that he should be good and well that was an understatement. Like he does time and time again, Ty just soaked it all in. [more]
