Ty did an amazing job in all of the events he competed in. What is spectacular is that he is the youngest boy on the team at 5 years old (his age group is 8 years old and younger)! [more]

...so this happened. Ty made the hay lighting swim team. They typically take kids 6 and above. Tryouts were on Monday. He had to do 25 meters free and 25 meters back and dive off the block. [more]

Ok. I know every parent thinks their child is awesome, but I have to say our kid is pretty cool. I do wonder what's going on inside that brain of his though. Yesterday, Ty had his first dental checkup. I guess the average age is 3 or so. I've been hearing about all these young kids getting cavities though and since Nana works as an office manager at the dentist office and he was covered by insurance we brought him in. I told the hygienist that he should be good and well that was an understatement. Like he does time and time again, Ty just soaked it all in. [more]

On October 13,2012 Tyler went to his first circus performance and overall a great time was had by all. Some families around us had to leave because there kids were too overwhelmed and I can understand why. There was soo much going on. The circus is that ultimate kid fantasy [more]

This summer Ty had the honor of being the ring bearer for Melissa (Najucks) Fairbanks wedding. He new he had a job to do and he handled it like a champ. Of course his aunt ashee was there every step of the way. The cermony was beautiful, but Ty loved the big red truck brought in for pictures and of course the dancing at the reception. Amazing what a two year old can do! [more]

I realize some of these posts are a long time coming, but here are a few pics of Ty's first camping trip. We went earlier in the summer and he had a blast. He actually fell asleep at a decent hour and just loved waking up outdoors with the family. [more]
